In the JustTables plugin, you have the flexibility to customize and configure various columns for your product table. You can include a wide range of column types, including Check Mark, Serial, ID, Thumbnail, Product Title, Short Description, and more. But that's not all – you can further fine-tune these columns by controlling their visibility, headings, widths, and alignments. Let's walk through how to make the most of these options.
Default Column Configuration #
By default, several columns are already enabled, such as
- Check Mark
- Thumbnail
- Product Title
- Categories
- Stock
- Price
- Quantity,
and Action. If you require additional columns, it's a simple process to enable them. JustTables offers a comprehensive selection of possible columns to choose from.
Configuring Columns #
When you toggle a column, such as “Short Description,” you'll find some essential customization options:
- Active: This option allows you to enable or disable the visibility of the column. If you enable the column, it will be displayed in the table.
- Heading: You can modify/change the column heading title, which is crucial for ensuring your table is complete and informative.
- Width: Customize the width of the column to match your preferences. The chosen width applies to that specific column within the product table.
- Align: Two alignment options are available – one for the column content and another for the header. This means you can have different alignment settings for the content within the column and the header itself, providing additional flexibility.
Product Title Column #
To create a product table, it's important to include the product title as a column. If you also wish to display the product's rating, short description, and full description within the same column, you can easily do so by selecting the checkboxes available for the additional elements shown in the screenshot below.
Adding New Columns #
If the default column options do not meet your requirements, you have the option to create custom column. Towards the bottom of the Columns options, you'll find a button labeled “Add New Column.” By clicking on this button, you will find an option to add a custom column along with some other settings, enabling you to tailor the product table precisely to your needs.
Do you want to know the best part about the columns option? You have the flexibility to arrange the columns exactly the way you want. Simply drag them up or down to your desired position with ease.
